From two solo photos to one kiss scene, step by step
This walkthrough follows one example from start to finish: two separate photos, a rainy city street at night, and a short clip ready to save. Each step notes what it costs and what to check before you move on.
Before you open the studio
Get three things ready. First, two photos, one of each person, each showing a single adult face clearly. Second, a clear yes from the person in the second photo: they should know you are making a kiss scene with their face in it. Third, an account. Signing up at /sign-up with a verified email, or signing in with Google, adds 30 free credits that stay valid for 30 days.
Steps 1 and 2: open the studio and add both people
Go to /studio in your browser; there is nothing to install. Upload the first photo as Person A and the second as Person B. If you only have one photo of the two of you together, you can upload that single image instead.
- Crop each photo so the face takes up a good part of the frame before you upload it.
- Double-check that Person A and Person B really are two different photos of two different people.
- The first time you generate, you will be asked to confirm you are 18 or older and to accept the content policy.
Step 3: choose the scene
For this example, pick Rainy Street Kiss. Every scene carries its own setting, lighting and pose, so you do not need to write a description. If you are unsure which to use, browse /kiss-scenes, where each scene has its own page. A good rule of thumb is to choose a scene whose light resembles your photos: two daylight selfies usually sit more naturally in a softly lit room than in a dark movie theater.
Step 4: preview it as a still (5 credits)
Choose Kiss photo and generate. A still costs 5 credits, a fifth of a video. Generation takes a little while, so give it a moment. When the still arrives, judge it on three points, in this order:
- Do both people look like themselves at a glance?
- Does the pose read as a kiss, with faces meeting naturally instead of overlapping or hovering apart?
- Are hands, shoulders and hair believable, with no extra fingers or merged limbs?
Step 5: make the video (25 credits)
If the still passes, choose Kiss video, keep the same photos and scene, and generate again. This run builds a fresh scene still and animates it into a clip of about 5 to 7 seconds, for 25 credits, and it takes longer than the still. The video run creates its own frame, so it will not be an exact copy of your preview, but a pairing that worked as a still is a far safer bet than one you never tested. If the still failed, do not move on. Replace the weaker photo or try a different scene, then preview again.
Step 6: save it before it expires
Results are kept for 7 days and then deleted automatically, so download the clip as soon as you are happy with it. If you plan to post it, check that the other person is comfortable with where it will be seen, and mention that it is AI-generated wherever people might take it for a real moment.
- Budget for this example: one still (5) plus one video (25) is 30 credits, exactly the free sign-up amount.
- With one extra still to fix a weak photo, the same plan needs 35 credits, which means topping up from /credit-packs.
